I have a 2004 Accord with alloy stock wheels/rims. I have scratched all of them by hitting curbs over the years. Aside from replacing the rims/wheels, is there something I can do to help restore the finish such that it is smooth and without metall burrs?

Is there anyway I can figure out the invoice/price on shipping 4 wheels/rims across the US, from SouthEast to SouthWest. Where do I find quotes from companies such as DHL and FedEx? Do I have to call them up?
you either call them or go to their website. Tell them what it is, how much it weighs and the size of it. We, fdx, handle rims and wheels every once in a while. If valuable as far as condition goes put them in a box. I have seeing the rims by themsleves but I strongly suggest you put them in a box

I have a greenish blue 1998 convertible mustang, i was wondering what rims/wheels i should get for it, and i don't want to spend to much money on them.
That is such a personal journey. What rims you pick says something about you and sends subtle messages. Racing rims, vintage look, 20" rims, spinners, chrome goth, etc., etc., etc.... if you're serious about rims.
The last set of rims I bought were used from a large wheel shop that were aluminum/paint that blended in well with the car without drawing any attention to them. The cost me $50 each. Very low key and tasteful. Maybe something you want to concider if you don't want to draw a lot of attention to them -- aluminum without a lot of details, smooth and easy to keep clean. You may even want to look at the stock style that came with that year car.

i got tires for my birthday which are to fit the stock wheels. the size is p225/75r16. those tires fit on the stock rims but i want to upgrade to new wheels. does any one have some thinks to where i cand some nice wheels that will fit the bolt pattern and that size tire.

The car runs so well right now, I just got it... but I really want some black rims/wheels on there, I think it would look awesome. I was thinking of 18' rims, but I dont want to hinder the car's performance, so I wanted the advice of someone who knows more about this than I do
