Corvette Wheels

Does that mean it doesnt loose as mush HP from the motor to the wheels? Corvette owners please answer. Thanks.

What is meant by transaxle is that the transmission is combined with the differential. In a Corvette the transmission in in the rear of the car for better weight distribution and to save space. The half-shafts come directly out of the transaxle to the wheels. It is much like a setup for an Oldsmobile Toronado or a Cadillac Eldorado which have front-wheel-drive longitudinally mounted engines as opposed to Japanese cars with transversly mounted engines. The Corvette has just as much HP as it would with a regular transmission/ differential setup, it is just for weight distrubution.

wantin some chrome c6 corvette rims but can only afford the replicas of the real ones. is it worth buying them or should i get aluminum ones?

if your trying to keep it orginal go with the oem rims otherwise a few of the tire companys on the internet can get it close for you just tires ,quality tire

i took all the wiring out of my power wheels and i need to no how to put weed whack motor in it. can some one tell me how to do this.

Just like putting a transplanted engine into anything. Manufacture mounts to bolt it in place, create a drive line that gets the power to the wheels (probably the hardest part) and set about to construct it. At every step you will discover something you forgot and eventually the whole mess will end up in the trash.

Bolt pattern for an S10 is 5x4.75 inches or 5x120.5 millimeters.
i dont think they will fit, i believe the widest i can go is 8.5-9 in.

They share the same bolt pattern. You might end up needing spacers, but many people put vette wheels on S10s. Width will become a deciding factor.

i want to buy a set of wheels for a 2000 corvette. The stock sizes are Front: P245/45ZR-17 Rear: P275/40ZR-18....I want the 2006 and newer size instead which are: Front: P245/40ZR-18 and Rear: P245/35ZR-19.

I do not own a corvette, so I cannot say for sure 100%, so don't take my word for it, but I will say I have seen a few guys with C5 corvettes put C6 wheels on their cars, and they seemed to fit perfectly.....If I were you, I would simply go to a Discount Tire store in your area and ask them, they will know for sure the bolt pattern of your car.
