I want the lip to remain chrome and the rest to be powdercoated the same color to match my car. Its the cheapest way to get them done right? And does anyone know of any shops in Stockton,Ca that do powdercoating? Thanks

Call around to shops that can do this. Check the yellow pages or on-line yellow pages. Or go to any wheel shop and ask them who does this work locally.

I just bought a 1991 Chevy Caprice and I want to put 22's on it, can I do this without a lift of any kind?

There is one way. Cut up the fenders and extend the spindle so you're not rubbing the tires on the tie rods or the fender wells. The Caprice was a big car and generally it can handle large rim low profile tires easily up to 18''. Depending upon how you drive, you may actually be able to get away with 20'' without having to do anything more that just calibrating your wheel speed sensors and speedometer. You've got to remember though: you're talking about putting truck tires on a passenger car. Eventually you will run into the age old problem of fitting an oversized load into an undersized sack. At some point you will need to either make a bigger hole to handle the increased size or you're going to have to go down and out. My suggestion, take a lot of measurements before you start investing money on this. Consider the width, turn angles, and your radii as well as your camber, caster, and toe angles. Remember, the bigger the rim, the bigger the tire, the smaller the amount of room you have before you start rubbing other parts.

Not the brightest idea - large wheels will greatly slow your acceleration and increase your stopping distances due to increased rotational inertia.

I have 4 wheels and tires mounted for sale but dont know where to go to advertise them. They are valued at $2300.00 but that is negotiable. They are universal - fit anything.

List them on Craigslist.com for your local area. You should start getting emails minutes after posting the wheels. Make sure when you post them that you are very descriptive, including fitment, size, brand, lug spacing and number of lugs.

They are two brands. Moto Metal is at the first link below and Motto alloys are at the second link below. I believe the Motto rims are probably better because they are made by American Racing who has been making alloy wheels since at least the 60s. Moto Metal rims are probably just fine to but don't have the history that American Racing has.
