Spark Plug Foul

I use the wrong gas in my lawn mower by mistake ( two cycle oil mixed with gas) but i drained all the gas out and replaced it with regular gas but my spark plug still foul outs. It runs with a mist with black smoke but runs right when the gas is about to run out. Whats wrong and how can i fix it?

Incomplete or improper burning of the fuel. Carbon (soot) and or oil build up and decrease the efficiency of the plug.

Clean out your carburetor. Sounds like your flooding it with fuel. Needle valve may be stuck.

Also check the kinflinctor pin right beside the discombobulator valve. It can seize up on you.

every time i put a new spark plug into my lawn mower it works fine for about 3 minutes then it will foul back out then it start running with a mist to it with black smoke

Too much fuel from the carb. Most of them have a removable float bowl. take it of and check that its not full of crap keeping the float from stopping the fuel flow. Could also be the choke is stuck in the partly closed position

Turn the engine over - if ignition is being sent to the cylinder, light in tester glows
Simple to use - just remove rubber boot from spark plug, insert tester & place tester boot on plug

My spark plugs are fouled after only about 3 months after putting brand new ones in. What could've caused this?

Would holding in the key in after starting the car do it? Because I taught my girlfriend how to drive and whenever she would start the car she would hold the key in too long and you'd hear that grinding sound. What else fouls up a spark plug though?
I run premium gas.
Also, I think I might be leaking oil. If it really is leaking oil in there, how much would it cost to fix it?

what type of car is it? year make and model?
to start out with a starter grinding will not foul spark plugs.
Incorrect heat range will.
coolant entering the cylinders will
oil entering the cylinders will
cheap plugs can be the cause.
as well as running high test fuel in a car not meant for it. Its really bad for the engine believe it or not. the change in octane also requires a change in engine timing to run and burn correctly. so unless you can change to the correct timing or the car can do it itself (requires an engine with a knock sensor) you need to run the correct fuel. so what happens is the unburned fuel is converted to carbon and coats the plugs.

What can foul up my lawn mower's spark plug?

Poor gas quality, oil leaking into the cylinders, too much gas. If too much gas, adjust the idle screws on the carburetor. If it's oily, consider getting a new mower, because that one's ready to be overhauled.

I recently asked the question about less power in my engine. One or two people say it may be the torque converter. A couple said it may be a spark plug fouled out. I have tried to listen to the engine and can not hear a miss in it. I had a car many moons ago and every time I changed the plugs in it. Damn did I have the power. So like my question asks. Can a plug be fouled enough to cause less power but not necessarily miss? Thank you

High voltage igntions of today can fire a plug in almost any condition. However, they lose EFFICIENCY over time as the plug gap dwindles. READ your owner's manual. WHAT kind of car are we dealing with here??? Many cars have learning computers. Some do NOT. Most American cars get improvements by using a better technology plug in them, like a Bosch FUsion or Denso Iridium. NEED MORE INFO!!
