Answers

What is the correct spark plug gapping for a 93 Honda civic 1.5? Are the ngk uridium pregapped?

I already changed the 1st 2 plugs before I thought about gapping.

the proper gap for a 1.5 L engine is .044. Iridium plug # zfr5fix11 are pre-gapped from the factory. part # 2477 is an easier # to remember. both are on the spark plug box. i used to work at advance auto.

Look for the VECI (vehicle emmission control information) decal under the hood. On it you will find the correct gap.

1990 YZ125 spark plug gapping specification?

I'm wondering if the NGK spark plug for my YZ125 ( (B9EG)--> NGK num. ) will come pre-gapped, or if I need to gap it.

If so, what gapping do I need?

Thanks alot,

The NGK plug should come properly pre-gapped ... but I usually check mine anyway. Yours should be .024 inch gap.

What is the spark plug gap for a 1978 chevy chevelle?

I have a 1979 Nordic Jet boat with a 454 chevy engine. I want to know the spark plug gap and timing.

Does it have HEI ignition? Try .045 with that, .035 with standard points. I would set the timing to around 35-37 degrees "total" timing, any vacuum lines to distributor off, engine around 2500-3000 rpm, while timing it. I have a '90 jet boat with a 454 in it also, B&M forced induction supercharger, 850 dp holley, MSD crank trigger ignition, had nitrous, but removed it. Good luck.

If you don't have the money, I suggest you not screw around with anything , otherwise you will be building an entire motor. And if the car is knocking, then you may also not want to drive it otherwise you may end up building an entire motor. What injectors, and fuel pump, and boost are you running? Did you at least get a base tune from VMP/TrickTuners?
