Everyone is a complete moron. Theres no difference. A rim is not designed to be "Just SUV" or "Just car". SUV's will usually have larger rims, but there's plenty of cars with big rims too.

You can try www.tirerack.com and it will show you what the rims look like on your car. Even if you don't buy them there it can be helpful to see what certain types of rims look like. The ones you are expecting to look great might look terrible or vise versa! Afterwards I would like up company websites to find rim styles, although most do not sell. Once you pick a style it would be easy to find via a google search or through a local dealer.

if you have a suv for 20 inch rims i would say none cause if a car can drive with 20's without lifting a suv shouldn't need one at all

If you've got the right tires/offset/bolt pattern, etc...I don't see why not.
Just make sure they are going to fit without rubbing the suspension components or anything.
