Steel Rims

I recently bought a set of rims with a polished stainless steel lip , how do I keep these rims shiny? What are some good stainless steel polishes?

I used Turtle wax chrome polish..it is good

If you think you have a use for them....then put them in storage...and try to sell them.

I have a set of 13 inch wheels that fit fine on 92 civic cx. I have a 2001 Nissan sentra gxe with 14 x 6 steel rims on which I would like to place these 13 x 5 inch wheels with winter tires for the season since they are narrower, they will cut through snow better. I know they have the same bolt pattern, but will they clear the brakes? Also, lug size is 12mm x 1.5 for the ones off the civic, the ones currently on the sentra are 12 mm x 1.25 lug size, does this matter?

I have some 4 spoke steel Ford Ranger rims that have rust and scratches all over them and I have decided that I want to paint them. I was going to start with dismounting the tires and then sandblasting each rim. Any sanding involved? What type of paint should I use? Primer? Clearcoat? Thanks so much!

Blasted well,there should be no more sanding required.
I suggest a powder coat paint.

I have 15" steel rims with 195 r 55 tires. Are these kind of wheels all one size width? i want to get 1 replacement from the junkyard, so do I just need to make sure they are 15"'s?

The size is stamped into the back of the wheel and width is usually stated in mm.
