I am trying to see if corvette rims would fit my GTP. Right now my car has 16 all around. But I would love to see it with vet rims. 17 in front and 18 rear.

No they will not fit. I ran 18x8.5 OZ competition wheels on my GTP with 255/30/18 Yokohama tires. But less expensive are 17" rims and tires they have to be made for front wheel drive and fit under the front spring and not rub on the rear suspension fender. By staggering wheel sizes you cannot rotate and tires wear out quickly.

Im looking into buying a set of 17" &18" Corvette C6 rims for my IROC. Will the fit just like that or do I need to buy a part to put them on? I heard I might need a spacer!? I have no idea what the means...
They share the same bolt pattern at 5-475 but the off set on the corvette wheels are 54mm the camaro 11mm. This are not compatabile.If you try to use spacers it will make the car unsafe to drive.Best of luck.

i am looking at some corvette c6 rims that are knock-off replica rims of them not the ones made by GM they are chrome and made of steel. Are these rims good quality or should i just get some made by gm that are aluminum that are not chrome?

I bought a set of replica Z06 wheels a few years ago and the finish was okay, but they are MUCH heavier than stock.
Unsprung weight and rotating mass are performance killers.
Try to buy some take-offs.

Not all Chevy 5-bolt wheels have the same spacing.
The number of lugs is important. I'd like to see responder number two try to mount a six lug wheel on a 5 lug hub.
To determine if the rims fit (since both are 5 lug patterns) you have to measure between lug #1 and #3. That is how spacing is determined. If your hub and the rim have the same measurement the wheels will fit.
An easier way is to just call your local tire shop and they will tell you for free.

Hi everyone, well i am back into fiddling with putting 84 corvette rims on my 91 caprice....i just got a 9.5 corvette inch rim and have 2 inch adapter 5 on 5 to 5 on 4.75 spacers for the rear. i will put the 8.5 rims on the front with 1.25 inch adapter spacers. i am hoping the 2 inch will push the rim out to accomodate the 6.7 in back space the 9.5 inch rim has. the front has only 6 inch backspace. the space in the wheel well frame to fender is 13 inches

For me, it has always been tires. I've had this problem 3 times now; twice it was because I had a hole plugged up in the tire; they removed the tire, plugged it up, remounted and rebalanced it but there was always some slight vibration around 70-80MPH.
