I just got my car but i cant register it till next week. I got a permit to drive it but I do not have insurance, so I heard you can get temporary car insurance for a month. Im not really sure though.. HELP!
There is nothing like temporary insurance, its just normal insurance. Just get insurance and call the insurance company anytime to get it cancelled and pay for just the days when your car was insured. This applies to any change of policy also.

Owner of the car has to purchase Full coverage insurance for the car.
He can get a month policy or 6 month policy and you will need to pay the 1st month upfront. Then he has the option to cancel it when you leave...
Owner or tagged registered owner needs to purchase the policy, For you to drive said car. If you purchase a policy, have a wreck and they find out you don't own the car you will be denied and policy will be void.... But they will NOT tell you up front its in the policy print.

I live in the US of course, but i will be soon going out of the country for college in October, is there anyway that i can legally drive with insurance here for the month or so i have left here? i just recently got my license, and i want to be able to drive around to do other stuff. Is there anyplace where i can get insurance for like a month or so? just temporary. i dont want to pay for 6 months worth, when ill only be here for about 1.
You should be able to find one that will do a month to month. Or you might even pay for 3 months. But if you pay for 6 months and cancel before the 6 months are up, they should refund the difference.
