on the contract it stated a fixed monthly amount to be paid now they have doubled that amount. has anyone else has problems with them? if so how was it delt with
No, I have never had any problem with them payment wise, they can't double a fixed monthly repayment without telling you. I'd ring them up and ask whats going on.
I currently have insurance with them but come November I'll be looking elsewhere, because I remember my old car broke down in April in the middle of rush hour traffic. I rang them and asked if they could help me get towed and they said it wasn't covered under my current insurance, I asked if they could bill me for it, as I have no idea about tow companies, its not like I carry the golden pages around in my car, and I was told NO!! I couldn't believe their attitude. So like I said, come November I'm going elsewhere.

I am as its my first year of driving but next year I want to take out a policy of my own and do not know if I will get a years no claims as I have been a named driver not the main driver. Any help appreciated. x
if you are the named driver you will not be able to take any ncd anywhere else. but you can disclose that you have been driving on a policy. experience may give you discount but you can only earn your own ncd if you are the policy holder.
direct line will do ncd for named drivers but you can only take that one year to direct line no one else will accept it
roughly sept-oct 2008 i accessed my online account with quinn direct and put in some quotes for some cars i was interested in buying.(imprezza 200 turbo, skyline gts r32 single turbo 2litre) at the time i was allowed 2get insured on these cars. i done some quotes 2day and now im not allowed 2b insured on these cars. can any1 explain why all of a sudden its changed. it cant possible be anything 2do with the recession can it?

tink dat car is bout 180bhp,yet i can get insured on a bmw 750i (5.4ltr Petrol) (350bhp) car and im only 21, try it yourself,i sed im 21 wit full lic and 2yrs ncb, tink it was 1700e aswell, da micra i had last yr was 2700e.
also i can get a quote on a crx vti del sol (160bhp) but not the esi (120),insurance companies haven't got a clue!

Massachusetts sued the U.S. government Wednesday over the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman. Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley said the law interferes with the right of Massachusetts to define and regulate marriage as it sees fit.
The 1996 law denies federal recognition of same-sex marriage and gives states the right to refuse to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states. Massachusetts was the first state to legalize same-sex marriage.
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Boston, argues the act "constitutes an overreaching and discriminatory federal law."

I’m 20 years old + bought my first car today. It’s a little 1.4 Rover Metro.. I’m on Confused.com + Moneysupermarket.com trying to get the best insurance quote.. Both come up with Quinn Direct as the cheapest by over £100. However it doesn’t give you details as to what the breakdown cover entails! There phone lines closed an hour ago + I’m eager to know.
For anyone who’s with Quinn, what does the breakdown cover actually offer? If it’s not great, I have no problem getting seperate cover with the AA as it’s only £12 a month.. But I don’t want to pay out with them, if Quinn offer a good enough breakdown package.
Basically my Dad said some companies he’s seen, have such crap cover, they’ll liturally come out, stay for 30 mins, if they can’t fix it, they’ll leave you. I don’t want anything snazzy, but need to know I’ll be towed to a garage if it’s not fixable, or home.
