How much should a 16 year old pay for State Farm car Insurance for a year in Nevada?

My friend pays 200$ a month. And some with an older car pays 100$ each month. How do I know if I'm getting ripped off or not. My friends say I would get ripped off for paying 200$ a month for car insurance. I had an older car 1998 and it was still 200.Basically I have good grade and good driving record so i could get a discount...So how much should a regular 16 year old pay for State Farm car insurance in Nevada for a year? And how long do you have to wait before you have paid money for the car insurance? By buying State farm Car insurance, do you have to go in the place to get everything paid besides going online? Is there any other way? Details please!help:)
**********10 points to whoever answers all the questions I asked correctly with good reason and has to be true if you know about State Farm car insurance!:)

The rates vary by many factors.

Call the agent and ask about all their discounts and ask how to get them if your not getting them now. The discounts are Multi-Car discount ( for having more than one car with State Farm), Multi-line discount ( having renters or homeowners with them), Good driver discount, Good Student discount and Loyalty discount.

Call the agent and ask them if you are gettting all these discounts if not then do what you need to do to get them all.

I'm 18 years old and I live in Nevada I was wondering how much car insurance cost per month?

I drive a 2003 passat don't want to do one of those online quotes.

Quoted by my carrier, my son is 17, liability only, cost was $300 per month, in NV. Yours may be a litte lower, or a little higher.

The nevada Insurance division has some brochures which give you an idea and actual costs. You can obtain them by going to the Nevada Insurance Division website

I was stopped in Nevada and I didn't have my car insurance with me at that moment, what should i do?

My mom decided to clean the car and forgot to put back the insurance and registration, and I got stopped for a headlight problem. The cop went easy with me and only charged me for not having insurance, but what exactly would I have to pay if I take proof of having an insurance to the court?

Please help me out, Thank You in Advance

emelynramirez21, I recommend you find a local auto insurance agent to assist you. Since I live in Pennsylvania I can't recommend anyone in Nevada, but here is an online resource that can help you. http://www.usinsuranceadvisor.com/Auto-I nsurance.html

Hope it works out

if my car is registered in california..how can i get car insurance in nevada?

Why would you need to? Your California insurance will cover you while on vacation in Nevada without a problem. If you are asking because you now live in Nevada and are a resident there, you need to change over your drivers and car license to the state you live in, and talk to a local agent about insurance once you do that.

Nevada man pleads guilty in auto fraud scheme that killed friend ...

A Nevada man faces one year to four years in prison after entering a guilty plea to a felony insurance charge as part of a scheme to obtain money from his insurer.

Jorge Moreno, 24, entered the plea in connection with a July 4, 2008, incident that accidentally killed Fabian Cedeno, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal.

The Nevada Attorney General’s Office said Moreno attempted to help his friend, Oscar Zavala-Gallegos, destroy his 2002 Cadillac Escalade to obtain money from his insurance company. Zavala-Gallegos could not afford his monthly payments for the vehicle, according to the report, and owed more than the value of the vehicle.

In an attempt to make it appear as if someone stole and vandalized the car, Zavala-Gallegos parked the vehicle at a local mall, leaving the keys inside. Cedeno and Moreno took the car and broke out its windows.

4 easy steps to shave 10% off your nevada car insurance

Is there anyone out there that doesn't want to save money? Seriously? When you're looking through your monthly expenses, what's there that you absolutely can't live without? Your house payment/rent, your car payment, your utilities and…yep, you got it…your Nevada car insurance . Would you believe that with all that, you're actually only four small steps away from shaving 10% or more off your annual insurance premiums?

We could tell you how to save money on the rest, but we're an insurance site. They tend to frown on long conversations about that sort of thing! Were someone to ask me, however, I'd recommend shopping around for the best interest rate on your mortgage and/or cheaper rent, turning the lights off and trying not to waste water and paying a little extra on your car payments each month. But that's just my humble opinion.
