I live in los angeles and the car insurance companies wants me to pay 300.00 dollars every month and thats to much for me.
Like the previous answer, shop around, but let me tell you, right now , your age is against you because in the eyes of a insurance company, you are considered a inexperienced driver, but the factors used to determine how much you are going to pay is:
your age
your driving record
the kind of car you are driving
where you live
what will you use the car for, ( drive to work or pleasure)
if you are a male or a female, ( females are cheaper to
insure than males )
Please.........just stay away from GEICO, they are a joke. I have never been with them, I know many who has, and they had nothing good to say about them.

Honestly there is no way to tell without a quote. Different states have different base rates. Those base rates are then affected by your driving history, address, type of vehicle, driving experience, discounts available, the way the vehicle is used (work vs pleasure vs business), safety rating, ect. My suggestion is the find an insurance carrier that provides quotes online. Make sure you have an address for both states including the zip codes and the county if one applies. Try to keep the information as close as possible but be aware that each state may have some coverage requirements that another does not. Happy shopping and good luck!

Yes it depends on the city but you should notice some difference in your insurance comparing LA to Colorado.

Los Angeles Car Accident Caused by Cop Who Ran Red Light ...
It is not clear how many were injured in a Los Angeles car accident early morning September 14, 2009, that was apparently caused by a police officer in Torrance, California. According to a news report in the Daily Breeze, the police officer, who was traveling north on Hawthorne Boulevard in a Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility vehicle, ran a red light and collided with a Ford Ranger pickup truck traveling west on Carson Street. The pickup truck in turn struck a car going south on Hawthorne, Torrance police said. Officials say no serious injuries were reported and admit that the car accident was their officer's fault. The Redondo Beach Police Department is investigating the car collision. Torrance Police Department will also conduct their own internal review.

According to the Long Beach Press Telegram, the fatal accident occurred at the corner of 10th Street and Redondo Avenue the night of September 11, 2009 when the driver, 33-year-old Neely Lejon Dinkins, struck the wagon with his Dodge Durango SUV and then dragged the children along with the wagon unmindful of pleas from several onlookers to stop.
