My wife was on her way home from work and was stoped at a stoplight when a car hit her from behind and we have no insurance but witness reports say the other lady is at fault will my truck be fixed by her insurance
i am working on getting insurance now once i get a estimate they will cover it
Yes, you don't have to worry about anything.. but dude, get insurance.. you could get in big trouble one day .. what if you got in an accident that was your fault/your wife's fault and totaled someones car? You'd have to pay out of your pocket or get sued. Insurance may be expensive but its a lot less expensive than paying for tickets, jail time, or a car accident.
I drive my moms car on occasion, but do I need my own insurance if I don't have my own car?

I was in a car accident last week. My insurance carrier is doing everything that they can to avoid doing there part. I need to enlist the aid of an outside agency in order to get things going. Is there a governing agency that watches over these things?
Contact the Insurance Commissioner in your state. They are in charge of insurance company's doing business in your state. There office is in your state capitol ..............UJN
i recently lost my car in an accident about a month ago, and i no longer have a car in my name, which also means im not paying for any automobile insurance. does this mean its illegal for me to drive a friend or family members car even if the car itself is insured? i hope im explaining that right. i heard somewhere that ANYONE with an ILLINOIS drivers license must have insurance on at least one vehicle.

You won't want the cheapest insurance would you? How can you be sure the company will be there for you if there is a claim?
State Farm is the biggest in Illinois. Because of their size they usually have low rates.
You might want to try a direct writer like GEICO or Progressive Direct. You skip the 12-15% agent commission, but then you don't have an agent and have to deal with an 800-number for claims.
But most importantly, each company has hundreds of potentially different variables in setting its rates.
It all depends on your age, driving record, miles driven, credit score, etc.
So, shop around.
Illinois Review: My Health Care Reform Plan
President Obama used his address to Congress recently, to essentially say very little new, slam Republicans and entrap a good conservative into yelling "lie" (which was the truth).
As a lead up to the speech, President Obama spoke to an AFL-CIO group in Ohio and jabbed the Republicans with "what are you going to do". He said that the opponents of his health care reform want to do nothing, and are protecting insurance companies and just want to bankrupt people, we want to see more people die, etc., etc., etc.. Obviously, the President hasn't seen some of the plans that Republicans want to push forward. ...About Car Insurance And Excess Payments
A surplus payment is the fixed payment you must pay each time your car is repaired through your car insurance rule. Your insurance company settles the repair charges direct to the garage at the time of collecting your car after repair. If your car is declared to be a write off, your insurance company will deduct the excess agreed on the policy from the settlement payment it makes to you.
You may be able to get the excess payment from the other driver’s insurance premium if it was their fault. But what if the other motorist isn’t covered?
