Hi I have recently cancelled my car insurance with Direct Line.
I was advised that I have to send my certificate of motor insurance back to them, I have had loads of letters asking for this.... but no information of where to send it?
There was meant to be a prepaid envelope.
Does anyone know the address?
Phone them and ask them for the address and to enclose an envelope this time!!
If You see a Direct Line Ad on TV you can be sure we Directed and Animated it.

YOUR NOT READING MY QUESTION PROPERLY!!!!!!
I want a directors contact!
If you go to their website, at the bottom left, there is a 'call us'. They have all that information on there.
Edit: Please do not get aggressive with those who are trying to help. Why not just ring them up and ask the name of a Director?

hi,
does direct line car insurance allow there to be more than 2 drivers on the the one car insurance policy
Typically it is best to list ALL drivers that drive your car. It may make your rates go up if one (or more) of the drivers has a higher rate than you do. So, if you are a female, under 21, you will have a lower rate than you would if you add your under 25 year old boyfriend.
Without specifics, it's hard to give you a specific answer, but you should be alright.,,,just be aware that the rate may go up.
Where we see some "red flags" is when there are more autos than listed drivers....like a person has 3 or 4 cars and trucks but only ONE driver listed on the policy.
The best thing to do would be to call or email Direct Line and ask them. You might do better by contacting a LOCAL Independent agent/broker for you insurance needs. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you should be able to find a professional agent with a dozen or more different companies to help solve your insurance dilemma.
Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!
My guess would be Roger Waters or one of the other members of Pink Floyd because it sounds like a modified version of Eugene. Or maybe they should be suing for breach of copyright.
I think Pink Floyd (Careful With That Axe Eugene or Astonome Dominy)
No it isn't. This is at best very misleading, and a worst a con. I would advise looking elsewhere before getting locked into this. There may well be better deals out there. Nowhere on the Direct Line website does it tell you that the Named Driver no claims discount is at a different rate from standard no claims discount, and when they issued a press release when this scheme was launched the rates were the same. However, Direct Line have now changed the rates to be (surprise, surprise!) significantly lower (40% for 5 years rather than 65%) but they don't make that information available - the rates are not listed on their website and they struggle to tell you what they are even if you ring up and ask. Customer relations say that they have had a number of complaints about this, but haven't yet done anything about it. My opinion is that they are deliberately misleading customers into thinking they will get a full no claims discount by being a named driver on a Direct Line policy.
