Car Promotion Insurance

Hey, I'm about to get my license and promotion for my current part time job, and i'm wondering if anyone know what how much would i have to pay for my car insurance, current car im planning to drive is a Nissan Maxima year 2000, I got my permit March 2007, but was too lazy to get my license, getting my license around next month...

Car is a 2000 or 2001 Nissan Maxima
and i live in chicago Illinous

Whatever the increase is to be added to her parents insurance. At 16 she can't have her own policy, and since none of us know who the carrier is for her parents, we can't guess.

One phone call to the agent would give a definitive answer.

I have recently go into a lease within the last year. Well now my boyfriend also got one and im the MAIN person on both leases. Well my boyfriend got a job promotion out of the area and does not want to have the lease any longer. So I found someone that will take over mine if approved. So that all works out if that works, but I would take over my bpyfriends lease and I thought he would pay the insurance and not get out of the whole thing bc part of this is his doing. So should I just pay the insurance or should I make him? And how would I go about saying something about the insurance to him? I just feel hes getting out of this way to easy. I love him and everything but I feel that he should assume so kind of responsibitly bc he was the one that wanted it in the first place. Please help me!!

The best thing to rid yourself of this ENTIRE mess is to sell the car to someone. Not this "take over payments" mess. Find a buyer and have them take a loan out on the car in their name.

As for this being "his doing," I disagree. You signed the papers so this make this mess your doing. I'm assuming his name isn't anywhere on the loan docs b/c you don't mention it....this isn't about love, it's about responsibility, something your boyfriend seems to be lacking as well.

I've been working at this agency fora year and 9 months. The director told me that I wasn't being punished for the ticket, but for the tickets that I has previously recieved before being hired at this agency. She said that I was costing the agency a lot of money for car insurance. She also informed me that she had been stopped before as well but had never recieved a ticket.
She also stated that my direct superviosr had a wreck on her record and it didn't cost anything to add her to the insurance

That's a tough question. Ask a lawyer or ask the same question later when there aren't so many idiots clogging this site.

I'm a 24 year old college graduate. I had some rough patches with work this year. Got a new job in January, then took what I thought would be a better job, totally got screwed over, my previous job took me back part-time. I finally got a full-time position and a promotion with a raise after my 3-month evaluation period is up.

I've already filed for forbearance on some of my student loans, but I'm supposed to start paying those back soon. I have about $2,000 or so in credit cards which happened to be maxed out. Most of the charges on those were to help me pay bills, not on toys. My car payment is a month behind. My cell phone bill is a couple of months behind. Car insurance has just taken my bank account negative.

I've tried cutting out all the expenses I can. Every week I'm selling stuff on craigslist to help me with money. I'm running out of stuff to sell...

I don't know what to do... I want to try to get out of debt and back on track. I can't cut anything else out unless I want to not eat or not put gas in my car which I need to get to work.

My job is about as good as they come in this area (which unfortunately isn't very much). I'm trying to save up so I can move to a bigger city and make more money, but I'll never save up any money at this rate. My parents are in no financial situation to help me out either. I feel like I'm going to be a poor pathetic person for the rest of my life. I make slightly too much money to get any help from the government as well...

Any suggestions on how I can get my bills under control and start getting out of the red and into the black?

First of all take a breath. Write down everything you owe. For 1 week write down every penny you spend, so you can see what happens to your money and I mean everything including the .50 you put in the chip machine. No eating out, take lunch to work, try to cut down on gas if possible, if friends offer to feed you, always say yes. Talk to your creditors see if you can negotiate lower interests rates or have finance charges removed. Do you need your cellphone, if not turn it off or make sure you have the cheapest plan. When paying your credit card bill always pay minimun plus the interest charge otherwise you will never pay if off. Set a time table to pay off everything, say 2 years. It will be tough but you are young and you can do it. If possible get a second job and put all that money towards a specific bill untill it is paid.
