Presumably you are talking about a warranty on a car you are thinking of buying, if so don't bother, you don't have to have one and they are waste of money they never pay out for repairs anyway

    First I thought I'd give VSC.im a go, they quoted me £7500 for the model of car I was after. The guy on the phone seemed to have a fit when I said I thought it "was a bit steep" and of course suggested the must be something seriously wrong with a vehicle for anything less than this price. So I had a quick look on autotrader.co.uk and within 5 minutes had found the same car (the actual same photos) on a dealer website in Cheshire for £5,995. All that VSC had really done was carefully photoshop out the numberplate and dealer name in the background of the dealer's photos, and were offering to import, reg and tax the car. Call me a pessimist, but I've got a feeling all the dealers...

    Interesting to hear your comments NewMB, the guy who has it now hasn't transferred the logbook into his own name yet and he admitted that he'd had it 6 months, he said the previous owner of the car was a "customer" of his....are you? lol He also said it was very highly specced (which it does seem to be) and is in immaculate condition. I told him I thought it was overpriced as it has also had 5 owners not including him....he said the price was negotiable and sounded like he needs the money.
