Hi it would be great if someone can help me with cheap car insurance, I have done quotes online and cant find anything under 300.00 month, Im looking to spend about 250-275.00 $ per month for a 1988 toyota camary 4 dr 4 cylinder... I am a 1st time driver and Im 36 yrs old and had my G2 since october 2006

To be honest, you usually get your best quotes online. These are through the large national companies, and like most businesses the large national stores offer the cheapest prices.

I did a rough estimate for you, and found Belair Direct Insurance Company offering insurance for $156.17 per month. The other closest quote was RBC for about $300/mth! Bear in mind that was a really rough estimate as I do not know all your personal details such as distance to work, whether you park in a garage, if you have anti-theft on the vehicle, all of which can affect rates!

Try to get a quote from Belair Direct Insurance Company and RBC, as from my experiences they are usually the cheapest (RBC is usually but in this case it was second).

Hope that helps!

You are rated as a new driver. Shop around because it sounds too high.

Canada Car Insurance?

Hi
I am trying to find a rough estimate for car insurance in Toronto. The insurance should be for a normal car, like a ford focus 2000 model. I have 4 years no-claims, married and is 28. I hold a full license (British and South African) and will apply for an Ontarian one when I get there. If anyone has a similar details, please give me your insurance quote...it does not have to be spot on. I got some from websites, but they all seem to be $320+/m which is very high...I only pay £42 ($80ish) in England, which is already very high as I paid R110 (£8.50ish) in South Africa.

This is for my budget to see what I can expect over there.

Thanks

Maybe You Should Search for a Low Car Insurance Quote As Well

I’m going through a bit of a fiscal crisis at the moment. I’m only working four days a week now thanks to cutbacks at my job which is tantamount to a 20% pay cut. I doubt that my meager savings will help carry me through until my hours pick up again, so I have to go over my household budget and try to trim out any fat that I see. I think the place that I am going to start off out by looking at a mixture of different car insurance quotes from multiple businesses as the premiums I am paying now are on the high side.

It used to be a real bother, and a time-consuming ordeal when you wanted to get a bunch different quotes from auto insurance businesses. It’s because of the difficulty and time that it takes to obtain the multiple quotes that I have stayed with the company that I have now despite their ever-increasing rate changes. It was just a combination of habit and laziness — which ended up costing me a lot of more dollars in high premiums. Fortunately, these days I can find enough car insurance quotes online to ensure that I’ll end up with a policy that provides comprehensive protection at an affordable price.
