Well, I'm new to California and I'm new to the whole "adulthood" thing. So. I am an 18 year old student. I want to buy a sports car ('01 Eclipse RS). What is the auto insurance roughly going to cost?

Visit http://www.surfquotes.com they have several agents/companies that offer you quotes instantly without checking your credit. You can get up to 5 quotes and this should give you a good average on how much you will have to pay.

20 yrs old and i'm wondering how much insurance would be on a 600cc motorcycle in the Orange County area.?

I took a safety course and got my lisence a few weeks ago and i'm wondering if anybody can give me a range of how much it would be. I have a clean driving record and also have another car I could put on the insurance plan. Thanks

the best way to find out would be through a comparison site, fill in the one form, get many quotes, see what suits you best. It saves plenty of time.
Try getting it bundled together with your car insurance if you can, and home.
Just spend a bit getting quotes, the service is free so use it then go for what suits you best, here's some I have in my bookmarks:

How is public transportation in Orange County?

I'm planning on moving to Orange County and I was wondering what public transportation was like. I might be able to get a car, but with gas prices and insurance and what not, I was hoping to get away without having a car.

If you're talking about Orange County, California:

there is a bus system (OCTA) which is fairly limited in some areas but provides good service in north county (Anaheim, Santa Ana, and so on). If you live in Santa Ana, for example, you could easily get a lot of places using the bus. If you live in Irvine, on the other hand, the bus will come once an hour, so you'll need a car.

There are also 2 Metrolink train lines going to Los Angeles and Riverside, as well as Amtrak to San Diego.

OC isn't the ideal place to live without a car, but it may be possible in some cities.

I got a non-traffic citation for not having my car registered and non-proof of insurance. Will it be recorded?

I got non-traffic citation in Orange County, CA for not having insurance and not vehicle registered. Will it be recorded into DMV for traffic violation point and have to go to traffic school to clear the violation point? Or will I just pay the fine and let it go?

Not having it registered will not affect you, But not having insurance will cause you to have to File an SR-22 with the state before you can get insurance again, plus the insurance will be A LOT higher now!

About how much does it cost to live on your own in Orange County, CA?

I'm just curious to know because my friend wants to move out (rent an apartment) and she seems to think that the only thing you have to worry about is making enough to pay rent. How much is it for other things like car payment, insurance (car/health), gas, water, phone, food, and all the other things I'm forgetting.
and if you actually live on your own in orange county just let me know how much you pay each month on all of those things

Everything you want to know depends on what you use/Have.

Car payment it depends on how much you paid for the car.

Insurance Varies.
Gas, water, phone, food all Varies.

For a 2 bedroom in Orange County, California

You can get something as low as 1395.00 a month. Just rent alone.

That is for something that isn't too nice. There is no fixed price on your other stuff. Like water electric and food.

EDIT: Check out this link for an extra 100.00 a month on top of the rent. They will pay the utilities. Its in Los Feliz. About an hour to Orange County.

Virginia county challenged in court for approving Walmart near ...

The legal action is aimed at an Aug. 25 vote by the Orange County Board of Supervisors approving the store near the Wilderness Battlefield.

The battlefield where 30,000 Union and Confederate soldiers were injured or killed 145 years ago is considered one of the nation’s most endangered Civil War sites, according to preservationists.

The suit contends that supervisors “brushed aside” mounting concerns about the negative impact the store would have on the battlefield and approved the special use permit Walmart needed to build the big box store. The vote was 4-1.

“A nationally significant and highly vulnerable historic site is at great risk,” said Zann Nelson, president of Friends of Wilderness Battlefield, one of the preservation groups challenging the vote.
