Australia Car Insurance Quote

I'm looking good car insurance In Australia or south Australia, I read some web page that dose quotes on what good for you, or tell me what u have and how much u pay and how much was your car and the loan

NRMA car loans ( http://www.nrmacarloans.com.au/default.a spx?p=456 ) is a good one, but you really have to jump through hoops to get it (example they want 3 months worth of bank statements).

My new car is with Esanda Finance which is run by the ANZ bank. I won't go into exact details here but I'm paying 11.17% fixed for the 5 year period of the loan. Application was very easy, only thing is they are very nasty if you miss a payment (know someone who did).

To get this loan I used a broker called FinCar ( http://www.fincar.com.au/ ), which is like that Mortgage Choice mob, but for car finance. They handled all the details including application and searching for the best loan for me (I had a default about to expire). I got approval very quickly after sending in my financial details via email. They also arrange loan and income protection for you.

The car is convertible and most insurers are quoting around $1600 is this about right? It seems alot for a hard top?

I read ended a car accidentally. it was my fault. I dont have insurance though.
The damage is minor, rear bumper bar needs a respray.
I was going to just pay him. He sent me a quote of $1225 aud.
This is a lot of money for me. Are their any other options. Could something be done through his insurance?
Please advise.

You can turn yourself in to the local police for driving without insurance, or you can pay the $1225. His insurance won't do much for you, they are going to be the people reporting you to the police.

(I live in australia.) about 2 weeks ago i backed into an old lady's car in a carpark. there was a small tennis ball sized dent in her drivers door. i said - it looks like its going to be cheaper to fix this privately rather than thru insurance. so i said get a couple of quotes and get in contact with me. i get a phone call from her husband who said he had it quoted at approx $750, i replied, let me call my insurance company tomorrow to find out what my excess is and i'll call you tomorrow. my excess turns out to be $900, i tried to contact the gentleman three times the next day but wasn't able to speak to him. today i opened my mail and found a bill for 1050 dollars from his insurance company. the work has already been completed and ii'm not happy with the fact that i didn't even see a quote and he went to his insurance company and they fixed it and now i'm supposed to pay. what do i do - do i just pay the excess and get my insurance to pay or is there another option?

This accident happened 2 weeks ago? It is, and I mean it is, impossible for an insurance company to process a claim that quickly. By the time the customer gets the vehicle into the shop, the estimate is done, parts are ordered, repair (including painting) is done, invoicing to the insurance company is sent, the insurance company verifies the billing, processes it through their accounts receive ables, pays the shop and then sends the bill to you far exceeds 2 weeks. So what else are you going to exaggerate about?
