I am travelling to Phoenix and Sedona with my family next year. I am now requesting quotes from major rental companies but I am hopeless when it comes to tick the boxes for insurances etc. Can you advise me on the good average coverage to choose ? I have about $1,000 saved up, and I was planning on just buying a cheap Honda or whatever, cash for around $900.
So after find a few cars, I went to see a progressive insurance quote.

There's no way in hell I'm paying $300-500 a month for a car that's only $900, that's way more than the car's actually worth.
So can my mom put me on her insurance? She lives in Arizona, I live in Florida.
